Journal of agriculture, biology and applied statistics(JABAS) publishes open access peer-reviewed scientific papers and aims to promote the original results obtained from the research in the field of agriculture, biological sciences, ecology, environment, crop modeling and applied statistics. It provides a genuine platform for disseminating innovative elementary research and observations in the advancing area of applied agriculture and related biological sciences. The journal fosters the discovery of sound scientific practices in the field of agriculture to solve the practical problems concerning the problems of farming community to ensure the food security along with the environmental sustainability. Apart from the applied studies in all the fields of agriculture, the journal also endorse participatory approaches and interdisciplinary research and publishes original experimental, empirical and theoretical research articles, review articles and short communications attributing to the improved sustainability of agricultural and biological systems in the present scenario. The journal promote quality, systematically valid articles which exhibit fair perception of scientific knowledge, theories, experiments, methods and techniques, in addition to interdisciplinary links. 

The submitted research articles should display an apparent scientific advancement against current knowledge in the chosen area, and should be discussed in regional, national or international context. The papers pertaining conventional methods in an innovative and novel framework addressing the real world problems of agriculture and biological sciences are also encouraged. The review articles should testify a critical assessment of emerging topics, problems and practices. The meta-analysis articles must evidently give answers to broadly discussed scientific issues.

All the papers are assessed on the basis of novelty and scientific content. Prior to the peer review, all the submissions first undergo initial screening for research and publication ethics. The articles that have already been published in a refereed journal or the articles under review by another journal are not encouraged for submission to the Journal of agriculture, biology and applied statistics.
