JOURNAL OF CRIMINOLOGY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE STUDIES is a leading, peer reviewed journal of original research and thinking in the field. The journal seeks to reflect the vibrancy of the disciplines of criminology and criminal justice. It publishes work of the highest quality and academic rigour from around the world and across all areas of criminology and criminal justice. It is interdisciplinary in nature, and is devoted to providing an international forum for critical debate and policy discussions of criminological and criminal justice research findings.

JCCJS: An International Journal has an established group of reviewers and we are currently seeking submissions for this journal. The submission will be forwarded to the associate editors so that the submission can be placed under review. Potential authors should allow 4 to 6 weeks for the review process to be completed before making further inquiries as to acceptance of a particular manuscript.

All manuscripts must be submitted in APA format. You can access APA documentation here. Please follow APA guidelines for Manuscript Preparation, including title page for blind review, referencing, and tables and figures. All manuscripts will undergo blind review by two or more reviewers. Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher. Rights of manuscripts, artwork, and photographs have to be transferred to the publisher, upon the acceptance of the paper for final publication. JCCJS welcomes articles throughout the year. The JCCJS encourages quality scholarship articles from relevant academic disciplines as well as from practitioners in the private and public sector. JCCJS is receptive to scholarship coming from a variety of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches. All research should be understood and examined through a transnational perspective. Articles previously published or submitted for publication in any other journal will not be accepted.

All articles must be grounded on relevant and recent scholarship in the fields of our interest. The minimum page length is fifteen pages (5000 words). The maximum length should not exceed twenty five pages (8000 words), including references, footnotes and illustrations. References should conform to the mode specified in APA Style.

The second page should contain the title of the paper, abstract, Keywords. The abstract should not exceed 150 words (100 – 150 words). Keywords are up to five.
