The Journal of History and Archaeology (JHA) is a peer reviewed biannual journal published by the ARF India. The journal is an Inter and multi-disciplinary publication focusing on both subjects; History and Archaeology that includes different Sub-disciplines of history and Archaeology consisting of prehistory and protohistory, from early to modern historical periods, art and architecture, epigraphy, numismatics, theory and methods of archaeology; geoarchaeology archaeobotany, archaeozoology and ethnoarchaeology, and new trends in archaeology; computer archaeology; and Computational (Artificial) intelligence (AI), and GIS Applications in Archaeology (AeGIS).
The journal accepts book reviews, review articles, conference papers, and interviews on topics related to the purview of the Journal of History and Archaeology.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. All submissions should be on the unpublished original work of the author, which should be emailed in MS Word format to chandraratne2013@gmail.com or eicjha@gmail.com
2. Manuscripts should be adhered with the fields of History and Archaeology.
3. Word counts should be between 8000 and 12000 comprising references at the end of the text and use in Times Roman, Font size 12, space line – 1.5 and margin 2.34 cm; citation style: APA (The American Psychological Association ), and need to include acknowledgments before the references not more than 200 words.
4. The Abstract should not be more than 250 words which is necessary to include five keywords.
5. All submissions will be observed for plagiarism. Authors are advised to acknowledge the Contribution of other sources, including any funding sources.
6. Authors are recommended to utilize original data, maps, photographs, drawings, and illustrations with standard resolutions (minimum 300 DPI) .
7. Authors are advised to forward a cover letter consisting of the Name of the Author/s, the title of the Research paper, affiliated institution, postal and Email address, and Mobile or WhatsApp Number.
8. The author/authors requested to follow the guidelines and edit the manuscript properly.
9. Authors will be informed concerning the status of the papers, acceptance, or rejection within One month including publication-related issues.
10. Authors/authors are advised to adhere to the ethics policy before submitting the manuscripts.
11. Plagiarism policy: Every paper should accompany a similarity index report in Turnitinanti plagiarism software. The plagiarism percentage should not exceed 15% per cent.
